MHS Grading Protocols
No one grade shall be more than approximately 15% of the semester grade.
Grades should be spaced throughout the marking period.
Students earning a grade below 50% on any assignment valued at 10% or more of the semester grade shall:
- Have the opportunity to remediate the grade up to a 50%
- Coordinate the remediation opportunity with the course instructor
* The course instructor has discretion regarding the remediation options for individual students
Grades should be returned and posted in the following time frame:
- Tests/Major assessments within 5 class periods of test date
- Essays/Projects/Research Papers within 8 class periods of due date
- Quizzes prior to the summative assessment
