The World Languages Department officially opens the testing window for Seniors to earn the coveted New Jersey Seal of Biliteracy between October 20 - January 5.
Language proficiency is assessed via
- Standards-Based Assessment & Measurement of Proficiency (STAMP)
Remote test proctoring will be used for students not enrolled in WL classes or testing additional languages.
Dec 3 - 10: Students in MHS WL Courses testing course languages:
Students in World Language classes will be tested during their regularly scheduled class period at no additional cost. Proficiency testing for seniors enrolled in MHS French, German, Spanish and Latin classes will be administered by the MHS Department of World Languages. Teachers will share your results and achievement chart with you.
Oct 20 - Jan 5: Students testing heritage or home languages:
Students not currently enrolled in World Language classes, or students wishing to test heritage or additional languages, must register for an online test.
TEST ASAP! ALL STUDENTS MUST COMPLETE THE TEST BEFORE JAN 5.
Students should schedule to take the test as soon as possible to allow time to reschedule in case of unforeseen challenges.
